Mods, feel free to move this if it belongs in the Camillus forum.

I happened to visit a gun show this weekend and picked up a nearly mint, half-serrated Camillus/Becker BK2. I've been using my Ka-Bar BK2 for several months now and it's been kicking everything's butt, so I don't NEED another BK2, but I know the Camillus halfsies were limited production for military orders so I figured I HAD to buy it.

My question to my fellow knuts is, should I post this fella on the 'bay? I've been searching for most of the day and just found a few mentions of the half-serrated BK2 going for ~$100.

Thanks for your advice in advance!

If its in good condition, I would put it up for a while, until the economy gets a little better. Then, take it to the venue of your choice, go GOLD and you can sell it on the exchange here, and probably find it a good home.

I personally would wait til the spring to list it, people will be searching for camp knives.....I imagine it will be noticed more so then now, Xmas has alot of potential buyer drained at the moment.

Plus it will be tax season, people tend to bid a few extra dollars

Good Luck

jjspec4, do you remember which vendor had this? I assume you went to the B/G show in Dayton? I saw one a few months ago @ Sharonville but not knowing too much about the BKT line (sorry godfather), I just went right on by. I think I would hang on to it, it won't cost you to feed nor will it want cable or driving priviledges . . . :)
Nice knife by the way, good grab.
Be safe.

Myself I'd sell it simply because I don't like serrations, but I think the BK2 has a place for them used as an Emergency Knife.. seat belts etc..

you could list it with a reserve, or just let it ride..

JUST1, I was actually in Kentucky, south of Lexington visiting family and needed something to do...:)

Thanks for all of the advice folks!

I have a serrated Campanion I got from a friend in Special Forces . Ain't sellin it. I just look at it now and then...don't wanna scratch it. Have a RAT RC-3 for all that.

several of them on ePray. just have to look.

i'd keep it, the knife sounds pretty cool. once you sell it you might regret it. i think since you asked us you might have mixed feelings about selling it. if thats the case keep it.
