A short time back I commented on Ron's (Half Stop) post with pictures of a couple of his #15 Sheepsfoot Boy's knives. One of them being Gabon Ebony which to me is the stag of wood covers. He promptly messaged me that he had 2 of the Gabon Ebony ones and would be happy to send me one after he returned from the Rendezvous.
I accepted his gracious offer and today a little white USPS priority mail box from Cleveland, TN appeared in my mailbox. Now I don't need to explain to any of you that have spent any time at all on the porch what kind of man Half Stop is. In fact I like many of you consider him a pillar of our little internet community.

In my package I not only found the #15 but also a Ka-bar 1071 mini-stockman, a 1 oz copper American Eagle Round and a lapel pin that says Camp Big Or Go Home. Here are the contents of my gift package from Ron with the exception of the Peanut I simply used it as a size comparison for the Ka-bar stockman.
Thank you ever so much Ron.:cool:

That's very cool. Love reading these stories! Had no idea Half/Stop Half/Stop lives just across the Tennessee River from me. Congrats to both of you!

Fantastic stuff :) We'll done Ron for looking after our pal Randy, you are both fine gentlemen :)

What a guy that Half Stop, Ron had come up to me during the picnic just to shake my hand and give me one of those coins. We talked about how much you enjoy sheepsfoot gecs and there it is! Pure class Ron!! congrats Randy

Real neat stuff by Ron - who is simply an awesome guy.
I too Dave thought that Randy may have come to grief with a half stop.
Well done to the both of you Gentlemen.

Randy my friend you are a true gentleman of the Porch! You are kind and generous and it's just a pleasure for me to call you my friend. I could not begin to recall all the instances of people here you have helped or gifted knives to, myself included! It just makes me feel good to be able in a small way to repay some of your kindness! My humble thanks to all of you and your very kind comments!

Wow Ron what can I say it means a lot to have you as a friend and as nice as these wonderful gifts are the kindness and generosity you have shown me far out weigh the gifts. (Although I really like the knives. :D) Thank you again my friend

Randy - Thank you kind Sir, those are very nice words, coming from you they carry extra weight- so again - many thanks.
I sure hope you are feeling better, as do quite a lot of people here do- your name was mentioned a lot at the Rendezvous!
