Half Track v. Mini Glimpse

I'm on the fence re. my next knife, and I'm partial to smaller (3" or less) Ti frame-locks. I'm seriously considering either a Hinderer Half Track or a Begg Mini Glimpse. They are close in price, and obviously both priced at the high end for production knives. Even though both are frame-lock flippers, they are very different knives beyond different countries of origin. The Hinderer has the advantage of clearly being below 3" in blade length, whereas the Begg/Steelcraft is right at 3".

Anyone have both, or have had the opportunity to handle both, with any thoughts as to which one would be the more interesting knife to get next?

Many thanks in advance!

I’ve handled a few Half Track samples, no Beggs. The HT did not impress me. Frankly, most Hinderers feel less refined to me than a 0562, so take that as you will. The HT feels very blocky and kind of weirdly cheap to me.

I’d lean Begg.

I have not handled a Begg
However I own/have owned plenty of edc style folders mostly non-custom
Strider/Hinderer/Reeve/Benchmade/Sniper blade works/Spyderco/ZT
Just to name a few offhand
I have a Tanto 20CV half track and will say that when a smaller knife goes with me now it is almost always my choice, the knife is little but big if that makes sense (sort of like my Benchmade 756 MPR)
I haven't owned a Begg but I really do like the half track, a lot

I have a 756MPR which I really like, but the blade is almost too short. Fun knife, but it does seem to need cleaning/lubing more frequently than some of my other knives. The Half Track always seems described as "big" little knife, whereas the Begg seems more of a proportional knife. That's the dilemma. Also, seems as if Hinderer in now going with inserts for the lock face, so I suspect that change will come to the Half Track eventually, in which case I may wait. The Begg does have a lock face insert, but the lock face is carbidized. For a knife that will get flipped a lot, I hope that would be enough.
