Just wanted to show off two slipjoints that I like a lot.
The first one is a 3" bladed Shadow Trapper by Jerry Halfrich, with paper micarta scales and CPM154V blade. Outstanding workmanship and edge!

The second one is a slip joint by the french maker Thierry Savidan. It has a 3 1/4" RWL34 blade, CF scales.
Again, very good workmanship and edge. The spring is a bit weaker than I'm used to, but the opening and closing are very smooth and I like it this way.

These are definitely my sharpest knives "out of the box".

That's a fine pair you have there! (And I know that Jerry don't do dull. ;))

I really like that second one, but that Halfrich looks like it has outstanding fit and finish, it's very clean looking. Both of them are very nice, congrats on a great pair of blades.

Very Nice folders, as Blues put it, "Jerry don't do dull"
Thanks for sharing,
Jim

I really like that Savidan shadow. Does it have a nail nick at all?

Great pair. Jerry makes a terrific knife and I like the lines of the Savidan.

I love that little trapper from Jerry.I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for a new knife from Jerry to show up.May be by Friday:D

Man I just cant stop looking at that trapper. Makes me wish I had enough to buy one of his works.

Thank you all for the kind words. :)
The Savidan is a no-liner construction, and doesn't have a nail nick (doesn't need it actually).
