Jerry Halfrich trapper - Smooth bighorn sheep handle, CPM-154 CM blade, about 3 1/2 inches, stainless bolsters fore and aft, round shield, half stop, big honkin' swedge. This gentleman is good, truly excellent workmanship. Several posters here who own Jerry's knives have mentioned how sharp he makes them. They were correct. He does. Oh yeah, he is a nice guy too.

That's a classy looking knife, Rob. And one that will serve you well, from what I've heard. I hope to get mine from Jerry soon.

Terrific looking Halfrich. Love the scales - very classy.

Problem with photos like this just seems to make it that much harder for me to wait my turn on the list. Am down to weeks now versus months!!

Outstanding Rob! Congratulations. Couldn't be in better hands.

Wow that is very nice Rob, love the scales on that knife...Is there a web site for Jerry???

That's a great looking folder! Enjoy!

Rob, you have great tastes in knives, now that you have that one, I am sure you will tire of it soon.:D, when you do, how about sending it down South. I Kinda like it!

Sorry guys. It already has about 62 miles on it. From Jerry's shop in San Marcos, Tx to my shack. I don't want to get too many miles on it before I break it in. It was born in Tejas and will stay in Tejas.

Nice knife, Rob. If any of you are getting a Halfrich, you'd better get yourself a leather strop and learn how to use it. Jerry makes them straight razor sharp and just a little stropping now and again is all it takes to keep them that way.
