See more pictures, read more information about this knife on a special page on my site here.

you should name that knife 'shark attack' or something!:) Vicious...
I'm picking up some major flow here, especially the swedge. Very neat:thumbup:

Very cool knife indeed. Have you ever had chipping problems witht he serrations? They are very narrow I was just curious.

That DOES look "viscious" Jay. Very nice shape to it. It has that "flow" going on.

Thanks for posting it,
Peter

Thanks guys.
Cute play on words.

Barrabas, when I started making knives for the military, one of the things they asked for is serrations that work. They ask that they be very aggressive, and that they continue to cut even if broken off!
While I've not had any that I know of broken in the hundreds of knives I've made with this kind of serration, these teeth will rip through oak or hickory with ease...

Lorien, I was not really thinking about sharks when I designed this knife; it just came out that way. The swage is full, just reducing the point profile and weight a bit without sacrificing strength in the spine.

Thanks,
Jay

Thanks for the response Jay, I like your serrations just wanted to hear how they held up. Your resoning makes perfect sense to me.

I'm really new to the world of custom knives, but visiting Jay's site got me hooked. I'm already on his list....it'll be a while but I'm sure it's gonna be worth it.

Another awesome piece, this one is.

Oh, oh, oh. Ohhhh... Jay, Jay... Sorry just those lines got me too excited. Those serrations is absolute madness.. Hurts my eyes just looking. Its way pass vicious, its demonic...

Just awesome Jay
