Got an Emerson Persian, unused, unsharpened, just took it out of the box, fondled it for a bit, and discovered that it really isn't my cup of tea. It is a sweet knife, good lockup, BT blade, typical scary sharp Emerson edge, but I have some other projects in the works that need funding.
