That was a great deal on the balance, and I LOVE that falcata! Too bad I missed the balance already, and the falcata will have to wait until I've got more cash. Would the falcata work as a chopper? I'm assuming it's just like a giant kukri.
 
Ya I was real happy to get the balance especially since it seems like this one is close to a shrunk m43 which is something I was considering seeing if I could custom order
 
I think you'll like the balance a lot. Be sure to post some photos, especially of that nice wood handle.
