Love that Bhairav mask, really nice! Might have to ask Yangdu about that one. Love the knife too, kind of a wicked unit.

Against my better judgment, EMS for this monster. I wish it had deep fullers to make it about a pound lighter and a hundred dollars less, but since this is Halloween I'll go for it anyway. I suppose I can use this thing in place of one exercise from my dumbbell routine. The hardest thing about swinging this will be making it stop. I have a couple of tree stumps that can do that. I don't think a pumpkin would hack it, pun intended.

Got the Done Deal. :)

It's based on a traditional design from Nepal, called a Kora Sword. Here's a fancier example that I found on the Internet:

Good snag David. Not going to be fun to wield but that one is going to be great for the collection. I have an HI Kora but not nearly that beautiful. One of a kind right there.

I got one. You might be surprised when you play with it some. Pumpkin dont stand a chance even if it had a neck bone running thru it! Great snag man!

Does yours weigh 79 oz? I have to say that gave me pause. If it becomes a wall-hanger I might need a stronger wall.

I actually have a heavier sword. It's a well-forged replica of a WIlliam Wallace claymore. It's 50" long and weighs 9 lbs, about double what a traditional claymore would have weighed, with way too much weight in the handle. Apart from the different weight distribution, swinging it is like wielding a sledge hammer. Not quite what a Wallace-era Scottish warrior would want to be lugging around, let alone swinging in combat, but it looks great.
