Happy Halloween!!

Yea, yea, I know..you're probably thinking to yourself....B2D....have you flipped? Halloween Survival? Seriously? Are ya a couple pumpkins shy of a patch? Maybe..:D All I know is that tonight is the night when spooks and goblins come out to play, a night when mischief is soup of the day!! No, there may not be ghosts and goblins and vampires..but there ARE
those whom believe that THEY themselves ARE vampires or werewolves or what have you. Hehe..a friend of mine was married to a man whom honestly believed he was a werewolf..he also believed zombies would take over the earth.. I haven't spoken to her in over a year, and fortunately never met the nu..I mean her husband. Point is, when/if you take your kids out trick-or-treating, haunted-housing, haunted-trailing, or whatever it is you will be doing--keep your senses perked.

Take care around large groups or crowds. Keep an eye out for those whom have been drinking too much. I'd recommend keeping an eye out for pick-pockets--after all, costumes are expected..masks. Robberies are also prevalent this time of year, again..costumes. Also, keep your pets inside or locked safely away...some people get their kicks torturing animals.
I'm sure you all know the rest. Be safe.

Look it up if you don't believe me--fires, animal killings, robberies, it can be a fun and great day or a dangerous and miserable one. Hell, you can't adopt black-haired animals in the month of October, too many reports of animals found
tormented and tortured. I'm just saying, keep your eyes and ears open--if you get a bad feeling, get the hell outta dodge. Wait, watch, and listen. :-) Have a Happy Halloween folk!! Watch out for the spooks!!

The one day of the year we teach kids to accept candy from adult strangers. I wonder how many closet/convicted pedophiles might be handing out candy tonight?? Just a thought.

Watch your kids every day, let them be kids and enjoy life, educate them on risks- but the watching is your job.

Ha ha! Yup, bear-spray, EDC and Coleman lantern coming along with us tonight - no question about it.

I was down at the sheriff's office today to get a VIN inspection so I could get it registered in CO and I overheard the desk clerk and a deputy talking about how it's a violation of their COR for sex offenders to hand out halloween candy because it falls under contact with children. They were planning on having officers do periodic drive-by's to make sure they were complying.

When I was a kid, there were no pumpkins here, and people used to carve out turnips. I imagine it was a busy night for Accident & Emergency!

I did kill a couple zombies on my steps last night. Pop culture has taught me thats OK to do.

I learned a new lesson for Halloween "Survival"...never put on a costume and surprise your dog...and then take off at a run... It WILL chase you, it WILL catch you, and you WILL regret it. I did.. Oh my knee...oh...stupid concrete blocks... :D

I don't doubt that there were plenty of pervs, nuts, and 'monsters' about on Halloween night. Of course, that's not to say it's a bad Holiday. Can't let the turds ruin it for everyone. You know? Keeping a watchful eye, on ANY holiday or outing with children is simply a must. :-) Next up, I suppose will be..."B2D's Christmas Survival...Lights..Caroling..ACTION!! Run away!!" But, seriously though, Black Friday is up next...oh fun fun...late night sales...peoples rushing for goodies..employees end up getting trampled. Then Christmas itself....carolers....a sneak peak...

"Caroling.. Some people enjoy it. Others not so much. Some hate it. Some will throw cold water at you. Again, wait-watch-listen. If you see an
object other than a tray of coco and cookies in hand, such as a pail..a tall glass..anything pointy...beat feet." Been there, done that..and walking a block back to the vehicle...soaking wet...is not fun. Not fun at all." :D
