HALO III blade steel?

Excuse me for posting in this forum but my question is not the automatic forum, it's a general question.
I recently picked up a MT HALO III with plain tanto satin finish blade, it's a
06/2007 item as it writes, what is the blade steel of this knife because i am confused with microtech blade steels? who knows?

Should be either S30V or D2, MT is kinda confusing. You could ask on microholics.org for further info

should be plainly printed on the blade and or literature. they switch vendors monthly due to lack of uhm, business sense...

I have the box ant the literrature but i do not have a pic to send! It is a satin plain tanto blade with fulers.

On the blade nothing is written. the mt logo and 06/2007 date is written on that, you pull it out to insert the blade in.

Nothing is written la bella, i think that nobody here can answer about microtech blade steels, even microtech does not specify that.

It is not my halo but this is i am talking about. The only diference with mine is that mine has torx screws instead of tri-wing and the production date is 06/2007.

My Halo III is dated 10/2006 and I don't have a clue what it is either.

The MT site said S30V at the time I ordered it...but then some places say 154CM and some say D2.

If anyone knows for sure on that date code I'd appreciate it. Not that it matters all that much as its not really a user.

I have the same problem as you, as i was told for mine with 06/2007 code is 154cm, for sure yours is not s30v after a search i did, probably yours is 154cm or d2 like mine.
