Halo television series :D :( or meh?

so I recently learned that 343 is making a Halo based live action television series which will be directed by Steven Spielberg. IMO I think this will be good for Halo and 343 and will turn out to be a great show, but I just wanted to know what all you Halo nerds out there think, will the shows be a hit, or will it just turn into an over produced, dumbed down CGI enhanced adrenaline pumping catastrophe? plus, what did you guys think about Halo 4?
 
Haven't played a video game since sega genesis, but apparently halo has quite the following so who knows. Look at all the crappy tv shows that get amazing ratings and go on for multiple seasons. I try not to watch much tv and stay busy other ways.
 
Check out Forward Unto Dawn. It was a live action movie that was released in four installments on YouTube which served as a quasi prequel for Halo 4. I don't know what kind of budget it had but it was well done and exciting. Definitely worth a watch if you're a Halo fan. It is currently on Netflix. They also did some cool live action trailers for Halo 3(?) which were pretty sick as well.

loved the forward unto dawn! i would assume that they have a decent budget, especially with the success of 4
 
Correction it was five episodes. I looked it up and the budget was under $10 million. I can't wait till a studio decides to pick up the rights. Even with a modest $100 million it will be epic.
