Hammer Brand peanut - does this share Schrade origins?

I just picked up a Hammer Brand peanut on e-bay, and like it a lot. It has an 'arm and hammer' logo on the tang. Any idea whether this was made by NY Knife Co. of Walden, and whether NY Knife contributed to the Schrade legacy? Or was this made by Imperial using the Hammer Brand trademark? Any input is appreciated. Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Well, the pics are gone from ebay this morning.
Judging from the description there, it is an Imperial knife.
Please post pics when you get the knife, especially the tang stamp.
If the tang stamp has the U.S.A. next to the Arm & Hammer it is an an Imperial and NOT made by New York Knife.

I am visiting grandchildren for Thanksgiving and not at home where I can access all my books, info & pics. I will try to revisit this next week after seeing your pics of your new knife and date it by your stamp, (though the dates have a wide range, IIRC).
It is my understanding that NYK never used "U.S.A." next to the Arm & Hammer stamp.

It looks like you did OK price wise on this knife if it is in good condition.
I like the old Imperial Hammers.

Y'all have a happy & safe Thanksgiving,
Dale
