I know that for many here (myself included) don't just have $50.00 bills just lying around. They are hard earned and harder to hold onto. But being able to hang out for a weekend with someone as capable and skilled as Larry Harley, and the guests he has, can teach you a lot.

the featured demonstrator will be jim batson
i,m thinkn of haveing at least 10 forges there to use so jim can demo saturday and everyone can do sunday
what would u like to see??
a no power tools knife??
hawks????(2 or 3 ways)

blade grinding??
i,d like for lynn landrum to demo heat treating 52100
hes outstanding!!!!
and does it the proper way!!!!!!!!!!

.

(i,ll find u a cheep notell motel close by or u can camp in the back yard)

It's real easy to get so busy making knives that we get locked into shop mode, and we don't take the opportunity to learn new things. Yes, being in the shop will hone the skills we have to sharpness, but we won't develope many new ones. Force yourselves to get out at least twice a year and see some other makers who are more experienced than you are, or, who are at least doing things differently than you. You'll be amazed at what it'll do for your knifemaking. Not to mention that you can learn a lot just hanging out with others in the craft and sharing "shop talk" with them.

i hate to charge for this
BUT
itll cost me
i want to pay jim and jim something and i,d like to keep makeing a liveing
i need money bad!!
krogers wont trade!!!!
