Hi all
Im trying to network with some northwest guys to find out about or to plan some hammer ins..This time of year it gets hard to be motivated to go to the shop when its cold. Sometimes its nice to just get together with people of similar interests to bouce ideas around, learn more, try something new...I have interest in learning crucible steel techniques, refined grinding skills, heat treat with and without clay. Dont get me wrong classes are great but im not in a possition to attend $500 to 6000 dollar classes even though I would love to attend....Let me know

I hear you. I'm a northwest guy too, and it's tough to get out there at 0-20 degrees. Even if there is a woodstove in my shop. It's tough for me to get over to the coast during the winter, though. Try looking up some of them coastie bladesmiths, or the NWBA, you'll find something.
