Hammerite?

I just squirted a blade with this stuff and it came out ok. After doing a search I find it needs 30 days to completely cure.
Yikes
Has anybody tried baking this in an oven?
Maybe at say 200 deg for a day or so?
I am not a fan of caoted blades but this is an experiment so bear with me.
Anyway if you have tried it let me know how it turned out.
Thanks

Shop Tip:
1. Don't try to bake a Hammerite finish it only turns soft on you.
2. Listen to what these guys say they are 90% or better right on the advice they give

Bob-

I've never coated a blade with Hammerite but I did paint my machinist tool cabinet with it, and once cured it's beautiful and tough.

I would try to sit still on that one and wait it out.

Rotor-

Hammerite is a coating, a paint pretty much, with millions of heat-hardened glass particles in it. When this stuff dries, the glass particles leaf together to form a really tough coating. It has a hammered texture and I think it is very attractive.

I have used hammeright on my shop tools fir the past several years. Once this stuff cures it is incredibly tough. I even used it on my benchtops.
Tools, Yes. Knives, No.
Just my opinion.
