Here is the latest batch. All are 1045, with hickory or oak handles. I even made the wood and metal wedges by hand :D

I never thought I would say "those are beautiful hammers" but dang, those are beautiful hammers! Very nice work!
 
Where do I order one?

I would like a Sammy Hammer to be my first hammer. That way when I eventually get into smithing, I'll be ready.

OK "Samta" you still got my address right, I am on the nice list right! I mean it would be OK to leave you a lump of coal. I figure a Samta like you would appreciate the irony of that. Get it iron-y. OK milk and cookies then! :D

so would one of these be best for a wanna be knife maker just starting out, or is there another type needed first?
