I had a feeling I was going to have to spend some $$. The noise taking the blade out is what I find annoying.

As a thrifty Scottsman, by blood boils at the idea of dollars leaving my wallet.

I got the knife for a helluva price, so one shouldn't complain.

I'm married to a Swede, so that complicates things even more !

I DO like the pickled herring though!
