Just finished this one and showed it at the Australian Knifemakers Guild Show last weekend and shared the catagory of best hunter with a mate of mine Peter Bald ( the votes could not be split )
Specs.
Forged W2. BL4 3/4", 120mm. OAL 10", 255mm
Twist damascus guard, stainless steel spacer.
Cocobolo handle with domed pin.
Thanks for looking and comments welcome.

Good looking hunter and appears to be equally impressive from an ergonomic perspective as well.:thumbup::thumbup:

I really like that one Keith. Great hamon and a great package. Congratulations.

The guard is fat, in that the part where the finger goes could use some serious thinning, and the blade has a stout(too short) and inelegant profile......the handle is exceedingly well profiled and competes with the rest, imo.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Hey Steven I am curious as I like to take everyones comments they give for others blades onboard so I can implement them into my own designs, I can see thinning down the gaurd as you suggested. The blade itself for a hunter of this size seems like a good shape but thats me thinking of a users standpoint. Do you suggest this from a purely austhetic stand point?

Not trying to disagree just looking for understanding. Thanks.

Thanks for your thoughts STeven. I'll concede the point about the guard and take that on board.
Cheers Keith

Very nice indeed, looks real comfy grip.
