You need powdered baby unicorn fur to complete it properly! ;) :D

Naaaaaaa; it looks great. Seriously, cool blade. :)

Looks great Damien! I'm glad to see you give that blade the attention it needed! :D

I would have told you to grind the edge thinner though :foot:  :p

Thanks for posting it!!! :)

thanks guys but after watching nicks hand sanding vids im going to resand it, there are some small scratches and J hooks that i can see and i hand sanded to 2000g then buffed with green crome then white so it should be a mirror
nick that edge you can see in the pics is the bevelled edge dont ask me why i did it i had a 400g belt on the grinder and it just happened, but its not sharp

I'd now go onto finger stones, if it was me doing it. Just use the Hazuya below and Jizuya stones above/on to crisp up the the "clouds"

IMHO, you don't want to buff the blade if you're going to etch it like this... buffing "smears" the surface of the steel and it won't show things as well as a hand sanded blade. :)

ok so buffing is out, ill sand to 2000
Nick is there any reason you only sand to 1500 and not to 2500 or higher
so will there be any more vids on this i learn so much from them your the man Nick
