I think he has fun with it, but takes everything he does seriously. No idea where he might get that from... :)

Ha! Hope y’all are doing well.
 
This is the kind of stuff kids should be doing not hanging out at the local 7-11 or spending huge amounts of time on their cell phone or computer.
 
I got to try this stuff and master it to impress my 6 year old daugther now that I still can.... I am affraid in a few years I won't be able to do so... LOL

One of the things that those who put HOW-TO's together stress a lot is the propper selection of wood for this particular task. Not being familiar with the woods you guys will probably have arround in your areas. What are the general guidelines? I take that everything (dowel and board) should be as dry as possible... what else? Hardwood dowel and softer board?
