David, that is awesome man! I love the "Tree of Gondor" and the "Leaf of Lothlorien". Very well done.

One knife to poke them all.
Looks like dwarfen work but could be elvish?

Made me check your homepage. Super cool stuff there. Didn't even know engravings like this are possible and on top of this its all by hand

Respect!!!

dude, that's epic. im not that big of a cold steel fan, but i am a lotr nut. the crest of Gordon, which sports the the white tree (a symbol of Numinor) and seven stars (which represent the house of Elendil), is just perfect on this. wish i could have it :p

Hey, thank you all for your kind words! It does indeed take a long time to hand engrave a knife like this but to me it is always worth it because knife lovers seem to appreciate things like this more than most people :)

OK, so here is very much an anti-climax after that beautiful knife. I'll bore you all with another of my aluminum handled Green River blades. It *is* LOTR themed in its defense. The elvish script was picked for show and says nothing.

Is it something you do for yourself only? As in do you do it for a fee for ppl. The engravings are awesome. I would love to have a knife engraved at that level of quality. You took a knife (which itself is a work of art) and just added more art to it. Mainly referring to the first one but the second one is nice too.
