Here's a camp knife I just finished. It's the first knife I've made from Aldo's 1084FG steel. Thanks for looking!

Blade about-7 1/4"
Handle about- 4 15/16"
Thickness-1/4"
Clean finish
Convex edge
1084 high carbon steel
Hand stitched sheath

Thanks again for looking,
Adam

Nice work,Adam.Great knife and sheath-I really like the walnut on this one.It looks like a real work horse.:thumbup:

What do you harden your knives to? Upper 50's? I really like this one too, has a more sleek style than a typical Hudson bay knife (not yours but the type in general).

Thanks,

Yes, I harden all my knives to 58-59. I styled this knife more like a 1700s butcher knife. My personal knife is the same basic style, and I find it to be a very handy size and design. Actually my knife is the one in my avatar with the full forged finish, but out of 5/32" thick stock.

Thanks again,
Adam
