"Hand forged sword"

I'm planning on making a miniature copper katana with a brass core, its really nice to do cold work and not have to harden anything. Those nail swords are tempting but I already forge functioning miniatures, and you know you're going to want to cut everything once you have a mini sword.

I think masonry nails have enough carbon to harden. Its such a pain to hold them while grinding and sanding though, ks metals makes high carbon rod in thin sizes, theyre like 3ft so you can forge a few miniatures and have a handle while you're working. Then you can make the end bit into small chisels and punches and stuff like that.
