I made a small Fuller machine, but it doesn't do a very good job. So I need some help building a proper Fuller machine. And the best way to use it thanks in advance.

I don't have a horizontal milling machine. Was trying to learn the blacksmith way of doing things, Milling is kind of cheating in my opinion haha

You can use a guillotine tool with a top and bottom fuller which is probably the most easy way but they aren't cheap.

But if that is too high tech (I know some guys do period blacksmithing) you could use a bottom fuller hardy and a cross-pein (or top fuller and striker) and do some eyeballing to line it up. Much trickier but works.

Another tool that does the job well and can be made for next to nothing (if you have a welder) is a tong fuller. (not sure what its called, that's just the name I gave it;))

I like the bottom one best, but if you can afford it, the top one is the easiest.
