I've purchased several 15" X3" Blade Master Pro Combo Leather Hones and found them to be great. But I have not used the Blade Master Pro Combo Deluxe I would love to hear from someone who has tried one. The system looks like it would be perfect for Busse's with convex edges.
The Blade Master Pro Combo Leather Hone works very well for me and I've been very happy with the hones and the compounds.
BTW... Keith Degrau at Hand American is very nice to work with.

WTF,
Keith told me that these were designed for the Busse grind. Thats why I'm seeking info. They would also work with the Swamp Rats with the convex grind. It's not if I'm going to buy,but which one. I got turned on to the Swamp Rats which turned me on to the Busse's......and I'm bit bad. Well WTF my wife said no more guns....just because I couldn't tell her EXACTLY how many I had. I guess 'between 27 and 35' isn't a good answer. LOL
Anyhoo,I'm just trying to find out the best way to keep these bad boys sharp. I doubt if I'll get anything other than Busse or Swamp Rat. Just haven't seen anything else to compare to these sister companys. I'm not that easily impressed,but after using........Yowza!!!!
