Hey guys, I ordered some Hand American leather tanned bovine on 9-29-09.
I was wondering what the shipping process is like since I only got charged $14 and don't know how to pay for shipping or when I'll expect it to come? I chose USPS priority (should be 3.95)
I got it off hand american's site.

Call or email the place of purchase.

The actual HandAmerican site is a one-man show but he usually ships fast and responds to inquiries quickly.

I've been buying sharpening items from him (Can't remember his name right now) for nearly 20 years, haven't had any problems. Always has been quality products.

He was slow as molasses months before the site shut down a while back, I hope they got things straight.

OMG   they have 21 carat diamond spray!!!!!!

I had no idea you could by from the site again. Don't worry about the shipping times, I doubt it will be your last purchase from them.

I bought some ceramic and steel rods from him a few years back and was blown away by the quality for the price. The shipping was a little slow back then but not bad. I don't know what it is like recently but am curious.

I buy HA compressed leather at Woodcraft in CA. It is 14.99 retail. I am happy with it for stropping leather.

Keith will email you a shipping invoice after he ships it to you. I was a bit taken back by his shipping policy when I first ordered from him, but I figured that only a honorable man did business on the honor system and he has since convinced me that he is just that.

Yes, it can take a long time to receive Hand American products but they are well worth the wait. My HA Borosilicate glass honing rod and HA strop system are prized possessions among my sharpening gear. I haven't tried the HA diamond compounds but the chromium oxide compounds are first rate.
