Handle and Sheath

Hello,

I have two of these blades I got a few years ago, and now want to turn them into something useful. The blades I have are the top and bottom ones.

I want to make handles and sheaths for these two but have no idea where to start. Maybe stacked leather for the one with the stick tine? Wood? Bone? Synthetic? I honestly have not an idea about sheaths either.

As a first foray into knife making the result I am looking for would be something durable and utilitarian.
