Handle blank width?

I want to make a new handle for my BK7 that I've ordered, but I'm unsure on the width of the blank I'd need to buy. The knife isn't in my possession yet, so I can't measure it. Looking at the pictures, it looks like the handles may be a touch too wide for a normal size scale.

Will normal 1.5x6 pieces work? I plan on getting the G10 Coyote Gray/Black in 3/8" and .060" G10 liner in red from USA, just need to know if it'll work.
 
The max finished width at the pommel end is 1-7/8" on fullsized handles. The width at the "guard" end is right at 1-3/4". The length is 5-1/8" finshed.
