So I read a recent post by Sal that they began tooling for the new Pacific Salt 2. They have not yet decided on handle shape and I thought it would be interesting to take a poll here to see what people's preferences were.
Personally, I much prefer the Endura 3/Pacific Salt handle to that of the Endura 4. The Pacific Salt sits in my hand naturally whether I am holding it choked up or further back. The Endura 4 is a different experience for me. I have a hard time finding a grip that feels completely natural on that knife, whether I'm holding it choked up or further back. I think my issue with the handle is the smaller middle finger groove which only allows room for one finger. This forces me into one of two grips, neither of which is completely comfortable for me.
I don't hate the Endura 4 or anything and if they decide to go that route then I will certainly still buy and use the Pacific Salt 2 but given the choice, I would prefer to have the same shape handle as the current Pacific Salt but with bi-directional texturing.
What about you guys?
