A minute ago I saw a flashing ad for Titan knives in several colors. Is G-10 a material that can be colored? If so, why not make experimental (saleswise) series with colored handles?
Personally, I would love to buy Spydercos (especially the Police and Harpy) with orange, pink, or UN blue (as I think Emerson makes the Ravens) handles.

Thank you.

I agree. I kinda get tired of black all the time. I've seen different colors of G-10 in knifemaking supply catalogs. Maybe somebody should start using it. JMO.

Scales have been made in different colors in different materials, including Al, for decades, without much, if any, effect on the sale of these differently colored knives.

No problem! I keep many colors of G10 in stock!! Basic Black, Blue, Red, O.D., and two tone brown. I am ALWAYS experimenting with sprucing up the look of my tactical knives!
Lately I've been using colored spacer material between the G10 and the tangs on my knives. To tie the whole package together I use the same color spacer material in between the layers on the Kydex sheaths.
I have a G10 handled LiteWave on the way to a forum member right now with a color co-ordinated sheath. I'm looking forward to hearing from him when the knife arives. I will have pictures of it on my website this weekend.
