From the pictures I've seen it appears that the sar 6 handle is quite a bit larger(thicker) than the boss jack. I have handled the boss jack and the handle feels good, I also own a b-11 and think the basic handle is perfect, but I have concerns that the sar 6 will be uncomfortable for my mediun to larger hands. So if you have medium to large hands how do you like the handle on the sar 6 I just prefer the blade style and extra beefyness(Porkyness) of the sar blade. If you have handled both please chime in. Thanks

In your pic, you've got a RMD, hows it fit ur hand? I ask because I have a RMD & the SAR6, & the RMD is nice with the palm swell, but a bit thin for me to get a good grip. The Beef of the SAR is better in my hand.

The ratmandu is perfect. I also had a sfno with standard scales and it was not what I was looking for(grip wise)

The tallest part of the RMD handle is the same height as the shortest part of the SAR6 handle. The Boss Jack is skinny and the SAR6 is beefy. The RMD is right in between the two.

For hard use the SAR6 would win. But for my belt I would pick the Boss Jack as it weighs in at a lightweight 9.6 oz vs 15.4 oz for my SAR6.

I've got a SAR4. I suppose the handles are the same size. I find them very comfortable. Here's some pix with a Spyderco Military for reference.

My mitts are large and I love the SAR6. Sasquatch could get a good grip on those handles. Great blade-just do it.

I found the handle size at the pommel to be a bit gratuitous. As you can see, it left my pinky position feeling a bit open. It has a better sense of torque control then the boss jack, which can turn in your hand fairly easily, and if you choke back you have a lot more in your hand while chopping. But really, it seemed like it's only reason for flaring out so dramatically was just as a weight counterbalance. I'm a fan of compactness and efficiency of design, so I much prefer the set up of the choiless boss jack. my hands are medium/large and the boss jack and basic 11 handles both fit me well.

I didn't use the SAR4, but I'd be curious if it's as comfortable in this position:

The SAR series handle lined up with a ratmandu. The pommel flair on the SAR4 in a word? huge.:
