I have two handles that the lables say same thing,36 inch, double bit. Am I confused? Yes.
The Hickory handle fits perfectly, the Link handle not so nice. Is this a miss labled handle?

I've seen lots of Link handles that were just mis-shaped. The kerf is often off to one side, and therefore the head is asymmetrical.

Wow, that's a fatty. I'm guessing the link is on the left in the end shot? I've had a few handles from them that were also just poorly shaped at the ends, almost like the people making them have never seen an axe before. I guess if it's 36" and you can rasp it away and cram it in a double bit head then it's not mislabled, but it's a crap job for sure. I mean, there's nothing else I'm aware of that has two bits and such a short fat eye. I think I used to have a splitting maul that took a squat oval handle like that but it wasn't a double bit... It's way too short in the long dimesion to fill the eye, you'd have to put a couple large crosswedges in there to fill it up.
