I Like the Grippier Handles of the older version Recon Folder Series from COLD STEEL.

I like Tanto version The Best.

It can be a challenge to hunt down this version of the knife.

It is easy to buy the Current Version However.

I have some Clip Point Recon Folders in the grippy old version handles.

Could I purchase a NEW tanto version In S30V blade steel and Swap the old grippy handles style To the new version?????

I wonder the same thing, I like the old model American Lawman much more than the newer smoother, slim model. And I would love to know if the blades are swappable.

I can't speak to the American Lawman, but I know that Recon 1 blades and handles can be swapped without issue. I placed a new Recon 1 blade in the rough-textured G-10 handle of an older model I had, and I installed the old AUS-8A blade in the newer handle. Neither has any problem with fit or spacing. (For what it's worth, I prefer the old handle texture in the hand and the new texture when pulling the clipped knife out of the pocket! Every design feature is a trade-off of some sort.)

The old Hold Out handles also were much more comfortable than the newer ones. They had the heavier texturing, but more importantly they were wider than the later versions. I believe that their new blade widths were narrowed slightly, however, so I haven't attempted to swap them as I don't think it would work properly.
