Handle ID question

I am assuming the handle on the first knife is the Mag Olive Drab and the second blade is the Mag Black Micarta. Is this an accurate assumption?

They both look like Black Canvas Micarta to me, with the first being Magnum thickness, and the second being standard.

I wondered about that. If that is the case I don't think I have seen an example of Olive Drab Micarta. Does anyone have any pics of OD slabs?

The Black & Tan G-10 looks awesome, and given the contouring of the Magnum handles, it'll turn out even more awesome me thinks. :thumbup::thumbup:

I agree with Lunde. I am also wondering what the Olive Drab Magnums look like. I the OD is G-10 though not Micarta.

Oh, and the Olive Drab handles are G-10, not some some form of Micarta.

I was thinking the OD was Micarta, but it is G10.
Now I remember...it was on the Satin AD offered in the Knoboganzaaa.

I'll be finding out, because that's one of the configurations in my first order, placed late last night.

I can't help but wonder if the mag black G10 would look better than the OD G10 on an OD blade.... An all OD knife might look boring...

Lately, the OD of the OD blades have been a darker shade of OD than the OD of the OD G-10 handles. It'll be a nice yet subtle contrast.
