Anyone else like to see some wood fiddleback scales for the Sebenza folder:)

I've never even owned a Sebenza. LOL. I can't picture one, in fact.

IIRC, the Sebenza is a frame lock, so you could only really add one scale.

customers would have to ship the knives to Andy for him to drill and tap them to secure the one new Fiddleback scale.

it would bulk up the knife.

as nice as Andy's work is, i'm not seeing a great deal of benefit from adding a scale to a Sebenza and it sounds like it would be a hassle on Andy's part.

Fiiddleback grips for 1911s, SIGs, Ruger MK2s or S&W revolvers.. sure. i'd love to see that! and the guns wouldn't need to be modified or shipped, just ship the grips.

modifying expensive folders to take a scale... hmmm... probably not the best use of Andy's time.

+1! Not that I own a pistol yet, but hopefully I'll be out of the Nassau County (NY) pistol permit weeds by February. Imagine a 1911 wearing goncalo alves grips made by Andy...you might have to post pix of that in W&C or The Cove - too steamy for the regular subforums.

Please don't shit on me for this guys, but I'm really not a fan of CR knives. Skilled fellow, certainly, just not my cuppa tea. I actually don't own any frame lock style pocketknife. Not one. My favorite pocketknives are all slippies.

My handles are about ergos, and I just don't feel like I could do much thats special with 1911 grips either. I own a 1911, and haven't even redone the scales on that gun. One day I may make myself something out of micarta, just for the bombproof factor, but it'd just be a set of scales.

I want a Fiddleback stock for my CZ 452 Full-stock .22 rifle with Osage over Natural Canvas Micarta, with Natural Canvas pins and Bullseye Lanyard tube....and a beauty mark somewhere! ;)

I love Sebenzas, but I sold mine because I just couldn't bring myself to use it. Nowadays my Leatherman Wave does everything that my Bow Legged Joe is too proud to do!

LOL, if you do manage to talk him into this I would probably hear the CHA CHING all the way up here....

But I'd definitely love to see it :D
