Nice guy over at the other khuk forum has posted picture of bare Siru blade he got from his dad (war-time pick-up). He asks who might put a handle on it for him. Suggestions?

Invite him over here and tell him what search terms to use. I think he'd enjoy learning how himself more than just getting someone else to do it for him, no? Even if he turns out dissatisfied and later finds someone to do it, he' learn a lot and respect the knife more...

The HI forum at Knife Forums closed and a new khuk forum opened under the lable "Kukri Cantina." Gee, wonder where that came from? Not much action there, but I check it once a week or so.

I know the place- I have all of three posts there now.

I did start a thread on Chinese Cleavers out of curiosity.

I THOUGHT I recalled that Terry had stopped doing handles due to alergy problems his wife had from wood dust. If not, he is the obvious choice for someone who is not into do-it-urownself.

You're right Tom. Terry isn't going to do anymore handles unless he gets a shop outside of the house.
Terry has even less room than I do as I have a 10'X12' room for all of my stuff, and things get lost in there!!!!
