Hello all, so over the years I've had and sold many cold steel fixed blade knives. Recently got a Pendleton Hunter with the 3.5" blade (36LPST maybe)- Pendletons are confusing because of all the variants. So it's not the cheap plastic handle version (which feels crap), it's not the shorter blade version, it's the 3.5" AUS 10A with a really nice grippy rubbery feeling handle, with lots of different ways to hold the handle- it's become one of my most favourites because of that (it's really awesome). It says it's kray ex handle but it feels so much more rubbery and grippy than the kray ex handle of my OSI for example the handle of which just feels like plastic. So my question is, are there other fixed blade 'kray ex's' that are rubbery and grippy/tacky???
I've had a tanto boot knife which from memory wasn't, and the tanto normal which wasn't. This feels like an anomaly. It's weird.
Is the master hunter handle rubbery or plastic like the OSI? Are there any other rubbery ones?
