I have tried to look it up with no luck. I figured I would ask here.

I recently acquired this Last Rites. It is AMAZING! I was wondering about the handle material. I plan to use it like my others.

1- Is it durable?
2- Do I need to do anything special to it for maintenance?
3- what is it called? I forgot.
Thank you in advance.

So I understand it’s G-Rexed (G10 and Giraffe bone).

Is it durable?

Definitely orange and grey G-Rex bolster with stabilized mammoth tooth.
Is it durable? I suppose. It’s fossilized tooth and G-10.
Special maintenance? Not that I know of, other than warmth from your hands and a healthy dose of grip pressure!

A friend said it was giraffe leg bone in the G 10. I couldn’t afford this knife if it were mammoth tooth!

You don't need to do anything for maintenance. It will not be as durable as solid G-10 or micarta but I'd expect you will not have to baby it, just expect it to wear obviously as it gets scuffed and bumped. I'd estimate you'd have to be pretty rough with it to damage it heavily but I believe they warrant these pieces so you're covered either way. It's, without question, stacked bone... as the example below documents.

Thank you for your help. I won’t be batoning this knife. Just hiking and camping tasks. (Unless I find another ASH or Badger Attack)
Plus I have other fixed blades to beat! 😊

.....
Very nice score there buddy.

I'd use it without question for everything including batoning.

Jerry's warranty is superlative.
