Something different... or not.

I'd like to see how that turns out!
What kind of material is that?

It's called Italian Lucite they say is in the plexiglass family of plastics

That's certainly interesting. Instead of stripping it and putting on a mirror finish, I would send it to K-9Handler and have him put that pattern on the blade too :)

That is really cool, anxious to see it as scales. K-9 probably could do something pretty cool on your blade to match, I almost wouldn't want the same pattern though but something complementary to it.

I think I'd have to see it completed to appreciate it, kinda reminds me of the wallpaper in my Grandma's house but I'm sure it'll look sweet on that 9

Wow, the gold painting on the BK9 etching's really cool. Have you done the other side as well ?

Regards
Moin.

Very cool! How durable is this material? I'm not sure how crack- or scratch-resistant a plexiglass-like material will be. If this is a user, I suggest testing a scrap piece, especially in cold weather.

woah, that's nuts!
Have you contoured that? do the patterns go all the way through??
