I'm a little confused about what the handles of each of the following knives are made of:
Tsunami, Mini Tsunami, Pentagon, Mini Pentagon.
I handled a Tsunami at a gunshow and loved the soft, grippy texture of the handle, but I am interested in the mini Tsunami and mini pentagon, do these have the same handle, or do they just have zytel?

Hi Callahwj,

All the knives you have described have Kraton handles. On both the Minis, the handles are made of a harder Kraton material. Since the crossguard area on the knife rubs on the Kydex sheath to "lock" the knife in, a harder Kraton is required to allow it to slide more smoothly.

thanks ron, how hard are we talking here? As hard as the zytel in say, a spyderco lightweight folder, or softer?
 
thanks for the fast responses, Ron, I like the design of the mini pentagon enough that I think I'm gonna get one whatever the handle's made of.
