Is there a list/sticky explaining the different types of wood on the kukris?

I have never heard of them and wondered if theres different properties with each type or if its just colour?

I don't think there is a list of all the woods used. The one you'll see most by far is Satisal though. I think then might be Neem. Dhar was something special they had gotten and I am not sure but I thought Yangdu said the supply has been exhausted until more can be found. Teak, Bayar, Mountain Walnut, Chandan and Monkey Pod woods are others I personally have blade handles made of plus there are the various antlers and buffalo horn. I am sure there are more, for example I know you can send wood in and have them make you handles from it, plus I am sure there are other native woods I still haven't seen yet.
