here is a cheap mod that can be there when you need it, and gone when you don't...no commitment required.:thumbup:

I found this stuff back when i played hockey, i didn't like the sticky feeling of hockey tape and the residue it left behind.

you can use the same piece over and over( this is the same piece throughout).

it's cohesive tape(the same stuff that is used for athletic bandages).

It also comes in many colors. the only downside is that it doesn't last too terribly long. Hope this helps.

Yes, i got it at sports authority about seven years ago. yeah really handy, you could also wrap it around an altoids tin to keep it closed. or wrap it on something slick that you don't want to fall out of your pocket.

it is called cohesive(self stick). it leaves no residue. It has a rubber/spongy feeling.

yeah, sorry, it was a cry for attention.The thread was up for a while and I figured noone was looking at it b/c when you scroll over it it had the words hockey tape. i dislike the stickiness of that tape and figured others do too.

So I still think its a good tip(kinda like nobody thinks there baby is ugly, maybe),but it didn't want it to get passed over for a crappy title(i couldnt figure out how to change the title).

I just wrapped the middle of my BK2 handle with an old fave: Rubber/Leather-feel Wilson Tennis Racket Handle Wrap. Looks good, Grips GREAT, non permanent!
