I've decided the palm swell in my bwm handle is a little too big for my hand so I'm considering sending it off to me trimmed down. Just got my hands on the B11 and notice after a lot of chopping that my hand isnt as tired. I know it's lighter but the handle also isn't as thick around and fits in my hand better. Do you hogs have any suggestions about who to send it off to? Thanks.

I know that Norcalblacktail does mods on Busse's. I've seen pics on here of his work and it looks great.

You could always send it to Busse. I hear they will work on Busse knives ;)

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Why not send it to busse and have them thin down the scales that way you get the same pattern.

If busse mods the knife will that keep the warranty intact? I'm assuming a nonbusse mod voids the warranty.

Do you think it has to do with the resc or the handle size?

for questions on warranty, contact the shop and they will tell you for sure, no use in getting opinions that dont matter

I had the same problem with my BWM. I have rather samllish hands and the palm swell was too big for me to hold the BWM comfortably. So I took a file and thinned the micarta slabs. Now it's much better and I have hand shaped handles on my bwm :D. The work took me about 30 minutes.

It's the Res C. absorbing the vibes. If you do sand down the scales wear a mask for particulates for it's quite poisonous.

This is exactly my problem. I think I'm going to give this a shot. Thanks.
