Handle prefrences

Which handles do you prefere?

I want to start a poll to see which handles are prefered the most. I dont know if this has been done before but I dont think it has since the release of the NMFBM so there will be three choices.
 
I'd like to choose but I simply don't know the big differences in the handles. Take the NMSFNO for example. I ordered the machined handles. What makes the hand smoothed worth $60.00 more? I'm not saying they are not worth it I just would like to know the differences. Maybe someone will say something and I'll try to change my order to get the hand smoothed.

Dobywon, my vote will come later bro.

so far my fav has been the hand smoothed mags. I only have one knife with em NMFBM and I am not sure how many busse knives have em but so far they have felt the best to me.

Well unless you have felt the difference in all three then there is no reson for you to vote. I have a BM with machined mags and one with standard mags and I also have the NMFBM with the smooth handles and the smooth handles are by far the nicest and they feel great. So unless you have felt them for yourself then you cant really make a choice!!

I voted purely on how they look. :p
 
I have all 3. I like machined mags the best. The smooth look the best but the machined mags function the best for me.
 
Hand shape for sure. I have customs and the NMFBM with hand shapes and the smoothness is great, and do not create any hotspots.

"hotspots" is a great way to describe it Russ. I'm torn...I like the looks of machined better, but prefer the feel of hand shaped.
 
The hand shaped mags on the NMFBM are are advertised- the most comfortable, "no hot spot" handles Busse has ever produced. For me, at least. The machined mags poke into my palms in several places- the "hump" is too steep for my hands on the FFBM and FBMLE. And the standard handles are too thin. The hand-shaped mags are just right. :thumbup: Of course, you can always get the machined mags and shape them yourself.
 
Hand-shaped mags are far superior :thumbup: They're not as pretty as the machines handles, but much more comfortable.
 
After doing a lot chopping with many different handles, I gotta go with the standard handles. It's the most comfortable to me.
