Has anyone had their unique graphic handles refurbished? I'm curious about my unique silver contrast. If it were to get blasted, the silver would get blasted also which would make it lose its shine. Just curious how CRK handles these types of handles.

Thanks.

Nobody has any insight on how the refurbishing is done? The only thing I can think of is they blast the handle first and then redo the graphic. This seems like a lot of work and since the graphics are done by hand it would be nearly impossible to duplicate the it exactly. I'm really in getting it done at some point. Thanks!

I remember reading somewhere that they could refurbish a CGG by recoloring it and that it usually turned out very well, but it wasn't a perfect system and that sometimes it might be slightly different in color.

But what about the ones that are not annodized. Just like the OP said with the contrast. Or like the Web Sight or Echo Graphic

Thanks! That makes perfect sense to me. If I recall correctly, a CGG has polished scales so I think the process would be to re-anodize first, and then polish. When you have to re-blast something is where I get really confused.

I am not sure, but I would think the same logic would apply where they would do their best to restore it back to the original condition, with a chance that it may be slightly different.

CR handle refurbishment done differently for each style - inlays, graphics, plain, etc. You should call the shop and talk through what you want. There are limitations depending the the type.

Give 'em a call and ask. They won't bite. :D

Just call and you will have your answer right away. CRK gets hundreds of e mails a day.

I don't think th egraphics done bu hand. It's done by CNC machine.

You are correct. What I meant was they are done with the CNC machine, but the machine is human controlled. As opposed to the CGG graphics which are done by computer.

I just bead blasted my reverse gray scale freedom sebenza because I disliked the polished titanium scale so much for edc.Came out a matt silver,not the dark color the plain Sebenzas are.This bead blast finish does not show smudges now nor does it show scratches.I'm considering doing the polished blade next I like it so much ( ;

That sebbie looks great. Looks like it came from factory like that. Best thing
is you can always re-do it after you scratch it up.
