Hey Guys! I am pretty new here and never get a chance to actually be on the forum which is a shame I have been reading these forums through my childhood as I researched knives.

Today would like to share my new knife with you! it fits all my needs, long enough to be useful, super slicey without being too thing, flat ground and a neutral handle. Gimme your thoughts and ask question. it is not complete as I am looking to get some detachable scales made for them. I am still on the hunt for them so if you got any recommendations hit me up! let's get my baby some clothes haha

P.S. ; feel free to do a little show and tell!

what steel? did you make it/heat treat it?

dimensions?

I like micarta myself and g10 liners would look good.
this is from a Craftsman onEtsy Fehr forgeworks, this thing is awesome 1085 steel, 58 hardness. I would love some micarta or wood myself. if you know anyone who can make em feel free to point me in their direction

gotcha. thanks.. there is a whole bunch of knife makers and pros on here. glance around on the custom shop services offered forum. sure you'll find what ya need. they'll need your knife to match scales being made though, I would think.

thanks! more than likely I would have to ship em the knife, but I am ok with that

I have a couple of Graeson's blades...(the two maple handled Wharnies in the avatar)
Doing scales are not that difficult.
You can get Micarta or wood and pins from places like Jantz knife making supplies, etc. Just need something like a jigsaw and some files/sandpaper or a Dremel and you are good to go.
Or just purchase the wood and send it back to Graeson.

For some really nice wood scales, check flemingwoodsupply on IG
