Does anyone besides me like handles like this that curve down at the butt. I think they are the cats meow.View attachment 2361300

Depends on if they’re properly proportioned to fit your hand. If so, they’re good. If not, they’re miserable.

Yes, I prefer a handle that does not allow my sweaty hand to slip forward or backward when the heat index is 120F.

No, I like them straight, I feel curved handles want to force me into a specific grip over others, and I want to decide

The handle doesn’t need to be curved, but I like them rounded at the butt so they can fit comfortably in my palm if I want a sabre grip. I have a few SYKCO knives with the War Dog handle that have a sharp corner at the butt of the knife. I have rounded that corner on all of them in order to use them without discomfort.

I like LoomFixers mostly because of handle. Rounded, no hot spots, fits my hand just right. So no it doesn’t have to be sloped down.

On the other hand I do like the way a nice piece of stag is curved down at the end.
But most of my fixed blades are straight with metal pommels. So my results are inconclusive. Hot spots are the deal breaker for me.
