Handle size comparisons?

Hey Fellas... I am curious to know what the difference is between the size of the BM-e handle and the BA-e handle if any... and in your all too humble opinions, are the straight handles easier to hold becasue of the thinner profiles or do you prefer the ergonomics.

I have the ergo-BM/SH/NO and really like the way they feel... though I am also trying to break out and get another handle style as well.

I like the looks of the SJ, PD, and BA very much.

Cheers!

I believe the BM-E's handle is the same size as the BA-E's (minus the hammer pommel and rear lanyard). IIRC, the BA-E's handle has less drop.

I prefer the thickness and rounding of the straights, but prefer the drop of the E's. Both are great :D

I like the straight handle on the BM and SH, but like the E--handle on the NO and BA. May just be something with position and blade weight.

It was announced that the E-handles will be "retired" soon. I think the new one will glom a lot of good characteristics together.

...so then the consensus would be that the handle on the BA-e was too big for the blade? I LOVE the BM-e I have and think it is a perfect balance...

Maybe I should try to get the BA3, PD, or SJ?

Sorry if I was confusing. I prefer the E-handle on the Badger and the Outlaw. For my use, I like the straight handle on the Steel Heart and Mistress.

From what I've been told, the new style will merge the best attributes of each style.

One of my most used (and abused) Busses is a BA-e. I've hammered, dug, cut, thrown, pried and generally abused that thing. I really like the BA-e, the handle fits my hand well and it has a beast of a blade.

However, the best thing would be to try and find a show or someone that had a few and handle them. Handles are very subjective, something that fits my hand great, you might hate.

:D:D
