Can anyone recommend a good source for a short camp-style sway back handle for a Collins/Hudson Bay axe?

My buddy found an axe head that was really rusty and only had a the remnant of the handle left in the head. . .but it turned out really nice after removing all the rust and the Collins mark is very crisp and clear. Another friend of ours who's grandpa has quite a few Collins axe said it needed a short, camp-style sway back axe handle and we've been having some trouble locating one.

Thanks!

I think a Hudson Bay axes usually have the same size eye as a boy's axe but typically shorter, 24" vs. 28" for the boy's. House Handle lists eye sizes on their website. Tennessee Hickory also makes nice handles which are available through J. Hollywood Edge Co. Ace hardware carries Link handles and usually keeps a few boy's axe handles in stock.

Council Tools also sell handles for their Hudson Bay axes, maybe that's an option?

I don't know about all boy's axes but mine have larger handle holes than the old Norland Hudson Bay I own. Correct size Hudson Bay handles seem hard to find these days.
